High layer resolution for large dimensions

Wider has a construction dimension of 1400x700x850 mm and a high layer accuracy of 0.1 mm.

The printed models have an excellent finish surface without the need for post-processing.

The printing speed is 10-80 mm / s with a layer resolution of 100-400 microns (0.1 - 0.4 mm) with a dimensional accuracy of the X, Y axes ± 0.3.

Mechanics

The printer uses Cartesian motion for the X, Y axes with a static support mechanism and dynamic support consisting of IGUS linear guides.
The Z-axis composed of four 16 mm INA cemented linear bars and four 14x3 IGUS trapezoidal
bars.
The components are in ergal 7075 T651.
Mechanical features that allow speed in printing and layer accuracy.
The linear movement is controlled by NEMA 23 1/32 step motors.

Extruders

Wider is equipped with two extruders E3D Volcano that allow printing with two colors or with
support materials (PVA / HIPS).
Brass nozzles with a standard diameter of 0.6 and 1 mm (optional 0,40 - 0,80 mm - 1,20 mm) can
be interchanged with the aid of a 7 mm spanner.
This system allows changing the nozzle diameter to achieve different print resolutions

Temperatures

Wider reaches a maximum extrusion temperature of 300°C and is equipped with a 100 ° C heated bed and a 50 ° C tempered chamber (at 25 ° C ambient temperature).  The extrusion temperature
These features guarantee the correct adhesion of the large object to the printing surface and also allow the printing of special materials with high retractions.



Automatic print bed calibration

The automatic print bed calibration is performed before each print throught a probe that analyzed 36 points of the printing surface and compendates the different workplace heights.

Filament detection

End filament sensor detect the absence of wire inside the bowden and puts the 3D printer in pause to perform automatic functions of:

Displacement of extruder body for spool replacement - resumption of printing.


Printing materials

Wider supports filaments with a diameter of 1.75 mm.  It doesn't use proprietary filaments.

Total control of printing process

The printer has a control panel on the front that allows you to manage, control and modify all the printing parameters.
During printing, through the control panel, it is possible to modify some parameters to improve the default settings in the creation of the .gcode.
The parameters concern extrusion temperature, ventilation, flow, printing speed and filament change.
Wider offers to user the possibility of printing via USB with the aid of a computer or independently via an SD card.
It is also possible to remotely control the printing process via the dedicated IP via the webcam of the PC / tablet supplied. Installed in the PC / tablet there is an application for managing print parameters and n.2 licenses of simplify 3D.

Wire change filament

Wider have the function for the automatic change filament to simplify the installation and change of the filament.

Everytime that you want to change the filament there is a command on the control panel to activating the filament automatic filament change; the printer extrudes the filament, wait than the user installs the new spool filament, load it and start or resume printing.

This function is available also during the printing.

The printer pauses and resumes printing from the exact point where it was left.
