Dual extruders and nozzle interchangeable

The nozzles are interchangeable with different diameters to obtain different print resolutions.
Diameters availables: 0.40 - 0.60 -0.80 - 1 - 1.2 mm

Steel reinforced nozzles with diameters from 0.40  - 0.80 - 1.2 mm are also available in the market for printing abrasive materials.

Nozzle replacement takes place quickly and easily with a 7 mm wrench.

The two extruders are mainly used for printing with water-soluble support material (PVA) or for printing with two different materials/ colors.

Layer resolution 100 micron

PivotMaker has a Z-axis layer resolution of 100 microns with a dimensional accuracy of the X, Y ± 0.3 mm axes.

The printer uses for the XY axes the cartesian movement with a static support mechanism composed of cemented linear bars 16 mm INA and for the dynamic support of self-lubricated linear bars 2x10 mm.

The Z axis composed of cemented linear bars 16 mm INA and trapezoidal bars IGUS.

The movement is generated by NEMA 23 motors - 1/32 steps.

PivotMaker achieves a travel speed of 200 mm / s.

Control panel

PivotMaker has an LCD control panel that allows to manage, control and modify all printing parameters, even during printing.

The parameters concern the extrusion temperature, the print bed temperature, the ventilation, the flow, the printing speed and the filament change.

PivotMaker allows the users to choose to print via USB port with the help of the computer or independently via SD card.

It is also possible to remotely control the printer and its parameters through a specific IP address and application installed on the supplied tablet.

Easy handling

PivotMaker is sold assembled and ready for use.

The sturdy structure compose with powder coated steel and aluminium is equipped with integrated self-locking wheels for easy handling.

Filament detection

End filament sensor detect the absence of wire inside the bowden and puts the 3D printer in pause to perform automatic functions of:

Displacement of extruder body for spool replacement - resumption of printing.

Automatic bed calibration

The automatic print bed calibration is performed before each print throught a probe that analyzed 30 points of the printing surface and compendates the different workplace heights.

Wire change system

PivotMaker have the function for the automatic change filament to simplify the installation and change of the filament.

Everytime that you want to change the filament there is a command on the control panel to activating the filament automatic filament change; the printer extrudes the filament, wait than the user installs the new spool filament, load it and start or resume printing.

This function is available also during the printing.

The printer pauses and resumes printing from the exact point where it was left.

Printing materials

PivotMaker supports filaments with a diameter of 1.75 mm. It does not use proprietary filaments.
